About Us

The doggy day care was originally set up in early 2020 thanks to the imagination and creative design of Trent and Natalie Merifield based on their love of all things Western. It was named the Deadwood Dog Ranch after the Deadwood mining town in South Dakota.

The business was sold to the Rush family (Georgia, Lisa and Steve) in late August 2020 and the name was shortened to The Dog Ranch.  In early 2022, as the business grew, they employed their first full time employee, Bridgette Godden, an existing client, and later that year she bought the business.

Bridgette has always loved dogs and her mission is to create a safe, healthy, and social environment for the dogs in our care.
